Please note that this pickguard will only fit genuine 1973-1983 Gibson Ripper basses. The earliest Gibson Ripper basses (1973-1975) do not have pickup mounting holes. This pickguard will not fit an Epiphone-manufactured instrument even it does have the Gibson name on the truss rod cover. Light brown tortoiseshell (with a hint more red to the overall colour compared to the dark brown tortoiseshell that we sell) celluloid top layer with a PVC White / Black / White laminate underneath. Comes with a peel-off clear protective film attached to top side to protect the surface during cutting and installation. We are unable to accept returns if this clear film has been removed.
