Kent Armstrong Icon 62 Strat Pickup (Alnico 3)
Alnico III / D.C. Output = 6.15k
Slightly hotter than the 57 models while retaining some of the sweetness found on the 54's, these recreations of the 1962 Strat single coil pickups deliver a tone that is throaty and full yet still retains a lot clarity. Load them into a Strat with a rosewood fingerboard, plug into a valve combo that is set to be on the verge of breaking into overdrive and you'll be in blues heaven. The middle position pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity to achieve noise cancellation when utilizing a 5 way switch. 42 gauge Formvar wire and Alnico III magnets. Wax-potted and ships complete with height screws, rubber tube mounting, cloth-covered wire and a fitted antique white cover.
52mm string spacing (from E to E polepiece centres)
5mm polepiece diameter
83mm total cover length (including tabs for the mounting screws)
18mm cover width
13mm cover depth
76mm mounting screw distance (between centres)
