This scratch plate mounted jazz humbucker uses 42.5AWG which, along with the alnico V magnet creates that wonderfully smooth warm jazzy tone which Kent Armstrong jazz pickups are world famous for. The magnetic field is internally callobrated to give even balance and takes some of the harshness that you can often find on the b-strings on jazz guitars.
