CERAMIC / D.C. = 6.9K - "New-old-stock" - these Kent Armstrong pickups are no longer being made and so once they have been sold, we won't be able to stock any more. The Kent Armstrong Burns Tri-Sonic pickup is enclosed in a chrome cover, true to the original vintage design, and is a wonderfully unique-sounding pickup that's easy on the eyes.
If you are installing this pickup into a Strat-style guitar with a standard Strat single-coil rout, modification may be required. The Tri-Sonic casing differs from a conventional Strat pickup, so minor body routing adjustments may be necessary in some cases. A custom or modified pickguard will be required, as a standard Strat pickguard will not accommodate the Tri-Sonic housing without alteration. Our pickguard team can supply a suitable custom guard if required.
